Because no one realises their true worth when they are alive. For example a mother treats a child with love and care. U might think she is irritating but its only after her death that u truly realise her worth.

because if they had a exceptional talent in their field then it bacomes a rarity. eg. painters painting become rare as there will never be anymore made. therefor everyone wants one.
