I attend private school and have a mixed opinian about this question. For me it's great - I got Scholarships and bursarys and it helped me get great exam marks. On the other hand some people at the bottom of the year get paid into the school by rich familys and waste an education by messing around. Should these schools be only available to people who will work?

I think that private school can be a good experience for anyone, as long as they are willing to work hard. It should be available to anyone who wishes to attend, but I think it is most valuable to those who work hard.

Private schools has its pros and cons:
Cons: Expensive tuitions
Pros: Outstanding professors who offer their time to students happily.
2. Receive better attention from facuilty.
3. Private schools are well-provided, especially from their alumnis, so privates have lots of scholarship to give away.
for example: George Lucas came out of USC and donated over 30 million to the school. Guess where the money went to? That's right, the students

umm ... who do you suppose paid for the scholarships you got?

I'd be the rich families whose children 'messed around' all year??

Seriously, no private enterprise, including a school, can continue to exist unless funds flowing in equal or exceed funds flowing out.

While one more student in a school usually adds little in the way of direct expenses, the indirect expenses and fixed overheads do have to be paid over longer periods or the school will go out of business.

So those who 'mess around' have an improtant function in your school ... they keep it going financially so that those who are motivated to get top marks can continue to attend.

First off, a Masters degree is not required for private school
teachers. The pay is horrible, and the whole student-body is homo-genius ...Let me put it this way, if you want your rich kid playing with other rich kids then private school is the place for you .... If you want your kid playing with poor kids then public school is the place for you.

I believe that kids who semiwork and work should remain in private schools. if someone sort of works in school at least they have a chance to learn to be more productive. I mean that is what a public schoor sort of teaches
