what period of history would you like to visit and why??

Back to last year so I could spend more time with my Dad before he died...

I would like to go back 25,000 years ago, when humans were anatomically modern (cro-magnon man) and l can then see for myself how they lived, their way of life, and how far off the mark, or even how accurate Jean Auel (Who wrote about people in these times in a fictional series. Fascinating) As it is, without any written records, archaeologists have to guess, from artefacts. What about things that leave no trace and yet are extremely important to people. What were their religious beliefs, if any? Educational systems, if any. I chose cro-magnon times, as opposed to earlier hominids as I would not stand out, as I would, if I chose the hominids.

I'd like to visit the Victorian era so that I could meet Virginia Woolf, and all of the other great British authors of that time period.

Middle Age, I'd love too see knights clad in mail and armor. It's an interesting period of history.

Hmm, interesting. I would like to go back to the 1950s just to see what it was like to live in the 50s, and I would like to go to the year 2020 to see how different everything is.
What does your time machine look like? Mine's similar to a Police Box - a PortaLoo, to be precise. =)

I love history so I would like to go back to the1700's to visit people like Betsy Ross, George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. I would like to ask them what happened to patriotism.

Take me with you to 1998 when I was young and carefree and had not a concern and my future was ahead of me and I can tell myself my big idea to jack in my job to be free and young and away from responsibility was a good idea.! oh and when Mr right cam and asked me on a date I want to change my answer to yes!
Not that I havent had dates since just not the right guy....

I would like to go back to Tuesday of this week and stop myself chopping the top of my thumb off! It's not too bad but I can't believe the amount of things that I am struggling to do. I can't even change my sons nappy with out hurting it!

1840 to 1900 - meet the ancestors
1920 to 1960 - to go and see the big bands/musicians of the time (and meet the ancestors too lol)
I'd also tell my younger self somethings about myself... and maybe the lottery results for that 75 million. lol
