I say it's spelt colour but my friends say it's color. Which is it?

Both are correct; the first one is spelt by the British, and the second one is spelt by the Americans.

Things aren't spelt here in Ameica. They're spelled. And the word spelled correctly for American English is "color."

In Australia we spell it Colour. As well as other words spelt with or we spell our.

I don't think anyone would mark in wrong even if if you spell it colour, but technically that's the British spelling. And spelled is actually spelled spelled, not spelt.
