Pretty much I am sure you can put faster memory into a slower slot and be fine; but what happens when slower memory is put into a faster slot, will the speed automatically decrease, and all will work fine, or will the memory get fried?

Yes, you can, but it will run @ 667. But you can overclock it (via BIOS settings) but in this case you need to put some cooling on your RAM, otherwise it turns to a Kentucky Fried Chicken

Yes, you can add a new memory chip under two rules:

Same speed in all the slots and same voltaje.
Memory DDR-2 in DDR-2 Slots (its phisically impossible another option he he he:)

Yes, you can, but it will throttle everything down. our quantity will be higher, so if youre editing photos or music you'd still come out ahead, but if youre just surfing, or doing casual tasks, it would not be anadvantage
