Oh you simple minded people. With all the great technology and innovativeness that we have, don't you think this would have been accomplished already if our Government really wanted to stop immigrants from coming in? For all the middle and lower class people in this country I know, it's a difficult concept to embrace. For all the mid/upper class Americans you understand why.
The simple reason is - Cheap labor, cheap labor and uhhhh cheap labor!
When this country was born, we used slavery to propel this country forward. Obviously because we don't have slavery, we need the next best thing - a low income workforce that will do the job without benefits, ot pay, rights, and the possibility of a lawsuit against you.
When you look around and realize that almost all the problems around us are because of money, you will be enlightened.

The pro illegal aliens supporters say that the illegals are "only doing jobs that Americans won't do," and "we can't deport all of them." Both statements are false. There are some illegals doing jobs that most Americans won't do, and they are mainly in agriculture. Many illegals will not do those jobs either! So I say let the agricultural workers stay, and a few other illegals who have job skills that we really need. Mostly the illegals keep down wages for working class people.
The other statement assumes that the only choices are deporting them all or letting all of them stay. That is nonsense! We can enforce our current laws and step up deportations to the level of 500,000 a year. That is feasible. We also need to make being in our country illegally a felony punishable by 60 days in prison. That would really discourage aliens from entering our country illegally. Of course, we need the president, governors, and mayors all across America to enforce the US immigration laws.
