If you don't want to buy it you can go to their website and download it for 30 days free of charge. Sort of a trial run to find out if you like it. System Mechanic is also a general maintenance program. It comes with an anti virus and firewall, so if you choose download it and you already have an anti virus and firewall, just don't select those items on the installation option when you are installing the software.
