I have checked the fuses and relay but they are ok, is there a reset or another fuse at the compressor that will get it working again at least to recharge it??

If their is no freon in the system then the low pressure switch won't let it come on. It is usually near the dryer or on the dryer. If you unplug it and jump the wire with a paper clip it should come on

it is very low or completely out of freon that's why it is not working. once you start putting the freon in the system the compressor will start running if there is nothing wrong with it. if the compressor takes R 12 then you might as well forget it as it costs a lot of money. its like a 150 dollars a pound and most car systems using R 12 takes at least 2 pounds of it. and the only way it can be filled is by a certified mechanic and then only after he fixes any leaks in the system.

You can start to charge it without it running, and when enough freon gets in the system it wil start.
Also, are you sure the clutch is good, jumper the pressure switch to check this our before startinga charge.
