If you have a video input system on your pc you can do this. The SCART output from the sky box can be connected to the input, you might need to find a suitable adaptor for the plugs. I don't think there is any way to easily input the signal in digital form unless you are prepared to modify the sky box.

no you cannot, there are only two ways you can do this

1 - become a professional computer techy, extract the sky+ hard drive and link this to your computer, search for your programme and downlioad it, however this could wreck the hard drive of both machines

2 - do what many many people do and get a computer with windows media center installed onto it (its like home edition but with extra features) such as being able to link any PAL machine to the computer (including TV, Arials and sky, ntl e.c.t boxes) and record anything that comes onto the box straight onto your HD. The media center computers are specially designed to be able to connect and record live TV with 100% quality

yes it is.

if you get an analogue TV card, which has the composite sockets on it then i would say yes. you know the red, white, yellow. then connect sky via that.

however, i have never tried. my computer, purchased aug 06 had an analogue tv card, which i pulled out as soon as i got it home, and replaced it with a freeview card, and we only has sky installed on tuesday so i have never tried. i am sure you can though.

UPDATE: WINDOWS XP MEDIA CENTRE IS ACTUALLY BUILT ON WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL. IT HAS ALL THE FETAURES OF XP PRO AND MEDIA CENTRE

I would think not, as the television aerial has to run through the box into the television.
