Six Flags shut it down. It was losing a lot of money and also the park w/ the worst customer service in the chain.

They relocated what rides they could and auctioned off the rest. There's not much left now where Astroworld used to be.

Luckily, Kemah Boardwalk's not too far away. So those looking for a coaster fix can go there.

KINGDA KA is Prob the reason for most new parks closing and for them to focus on their larger showcase park and the safari in new jersey is always losing money they closed alot of their parks this year and six flags in new orleans was completey leveled another loss six flags took main reason not enough people go to the parks and spend their money so they jack prices up and no one buys a pizza cost 30 dollars at six flags and it is small

I did. It wasn't landscaped or themed to boot as Six Flags over Texas or Fiesta Texas, yet most of the rides have been stable. I enjoyed the Texas Cyclone. See my source record for some tribute websites.
