No you're right she shouldn't be eating everything in the house.

Well if it was a child of any age yes, if it was an adult then no because adults can control it a child doesn't understand and thinks that when u take food or "snatch" food in your case the child will think they can never eat around you and they will be scared to eat when it is time 2 eat. Secondly the child doesn't understand the phrase"stop eating everything!" U must say " no,no, it's not time to eat right now" Here's a pointer try to "distract" the child by hiding the food when the child looks away then say " let's go play a game or go outside" P.S. children love 2 play anytime they can. HOPE THIS HELPS- IM ONLY 13 THIS IS WHAT I KNOW-NO I DON'T HAVE KIDS BUT IM A PRETTY GOOD BABYSITTER-CONTACT ME AT MISSCAMI@VERIZON.NET!!!!!

With a name like Cookie it might be cheap insurance to keep a few snack cakes around in case she turns on you.

Yes, I think it was/is a little harsh! Ask her to take a walk or go skating with you instead. If she is busy with something she won't be eating. Help her don't talk down to her! It won't help!

Yea just a little...if she is eating too much (like if she's obese or close to it or something) you should tell her your concerned (tell her in a nice way)...being rude like that can make her more up set and maybe eat more...

I'm gald you did it. as long as she's a chubby girl, you're doing her a favor. My brother eats everything too, and he's fat. So I get on him about eating and excercizing.
