I have received your private msg. Once a period has started, there is nothing you can do to stop it- there are ways of preventing it from coming, which can be done on a periodic basis but this needs to be done at least 4 days before a period starts. The only option is to go to your drug store and pick up some Insteads. Insteads are a menstrual cup that can safely be left in place for up to 12 hours and can even leave them in during sex. You can read more about them here

Go on the pill, you do not need to have a break every 21 days, you can just take several packets one after the other, best to have a break every 3-6 months though, some women don't bleed in the 7 pill free days, others have lighter and reduced pain for less time.

Talk to your doctor.

There are various forms of contraceptives that are on the market and only you and your doctor will know which one might work for you.

The only thing I suggest is do not ever ever use the depo shot. There are class action lawsuits against Pfizer because of what it does to women.

And a woman's condom does not stop or slow a period.

Yeah,
Instead of using a woman's condom for birth control ask for depoprovera its an injection that you get once every three months for birth control and it stops your period all together. It will not stop std's but it will put a stop to your period.

Birth control pills. You can take them each day and skip your cycle just by skipping the last week's pills. Talk to your gynecologist or Planned Parenthood about how to stop (or skip) your cycle - they can prescribe the best pill for you.
