I had a skull Xray around the time of ovulating, would this harm my unborn child in any way?

1 week ago i had a skull Xray around the time of ovulating (i don't know exactly weather it was before or during ovulating), me and my man are trying to concieve so we still dont know if i am pregnant or not, we are just worried that if my egg got fertilized just befor the skull Xray what could happen to my unborn child. I had a little bleeding for about 5mins the night 26th and had my Xray on the 29th, so i dont know what the bleeding is about i just hope to god i got pregnant after the Xray (that is if i am). I have been on Birth control Diane 35 four 3 years and this is my 1st month of the pill and trying to concieve. Please i just realy want to know what the damgers could be of my Skull xray.

I think you are okay. We are told to do things you would normally do until you know absolutely that you are pregnant. At the time of your scan, your egg will have just been fertilized and is a mass of cells moving down the tube toward the uterus to implant and become a baby. I think that our body has a way of protecting us. I do think you are okay, but if you end up preggos, ask your dr. just to ease your mind. Good Luck, Baby dust to you.

You have nothing to worry about. The chances of anything being wrong are about 1 in a trillion. I assume they used a shield on you? Even if they didn't, the beam was far from your abdomen.
