I have to choose between
Founding Brothers by Joseph Ellis
The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne
The Narrative of the Live of Fredrick Douglass by Frederick Douglass

I have to be able to write a four pagge summary over the book I choose. If you have read any or all of these, can you please make a suggestion on which I should pick and maybe even a reason why. thanks

The Scarlet Letter is a book illustrating how women were treated in your great-grandmother's days. If I am correct, your avatar indicated that you are a boy. If this is true, you would probably be more comfortable reading Founding Brothers. You could then write your paper indicating how important they were to today's society and how different society is today from that time. I have read other answers and believe that the writers have chosen The Scarlet Letter because it's the only one of the 3 books they've read. It's required reading in most schools. And, by the way, it's an excellent book. But why not be different? If you read one of the other 2 books, you'll probably be outstanding and the teacher will show you his/her appreciation by giving you a good rating.

I've read The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne in high school. It's a pretty interesting book and I liked it. The characters are so complex and the story is easy to follow. The story is about the witch trials and how it changed the whole community when it started. I'm pretty sure you can write a 4 page summary on it.

I'd read the Scarlet Letter, but don't watch the movie and pretend you've read the book--- the film takes a little creative license. Also, I remember hearing that the movie really stunk. The book is a pretty easy read though. I've never read the other 2 books you mentioned, so I really can't say that Scarlet Letter is better or worse.

Look up plot summaries for each book online such as on sparknotes or wikipedia and decide which one you think is most interesting. Of those three, I've only read "The Scarlet Letter", and I think "The Scarlet Letter" was a pretty good book.

I had to read The Scarlet Letter this year, and it's pretty good. As far as being able to write four page summary over it, I bet you could compare the book to how modern day views are so it wouldn't be too hard to make four pages of it. Good luck.

The Scarlet Letter is absolutely one of the best books I read when I was in high school. It's a fantastic story with a good message. I'd recommend that.

1984 is large seize 22 is large Frankenstein is a classic count sort of Monte Cristo is long although this is incredible. ___ i could stay removed from dickens in my view.. too plenty pointless factor for me. Silas Marner bored me. the stable Earth replaced into very uninteresting. It basically relies upon on what form of e book youre searching for, seize 22 has an incredible sort of dry humor and this is totally unique.. 1984 is somewhat scifi. in case you decide on classic stable writing Frankentsein is likely one among the appropriate.. and basically a stable tale of revenge and plotting... The count sort of monte cristo is your %.. i'm hoping this helped.
