ask for forgiveness

While people say that saying "I'm sorry" is easy, that's only because it's words that might not mean anything. Asking permission keeps you from wasting the time of doing what you possibly shouldn't have been doing in the first place and then having to apologize for it afterward.

Once I ask this girl if it be OK to poke my finger in her belly button. She looked at me funny and said; "Well, I guess it be OK".
When she yelled; "Dang!!!! That not my belly button you too low"!
I said; " Oh! Sorry, that not my finger either, forgive me"!

So, maybe it best to ask permission first. If, you make a mistake, then it easier to ask for forgiveness.
