I do not think the Turks would be very happy with that. Currently In iraq their is a sort of De facto Kurdistan, because that area has pretty much been stable and really has not required a US presence to ensure its stability. It has pretty much taken care of itself and is waiting to see how the rest of the country will work out.

That sovereign Kurdish nation will include parts of Turkey and Iran, I doubt that they would just want to give it up.
