If I remember right, you have to take off the air inlet tubing and then follow your top radiator hose to the intake manifold on the top of the engine. It should connect to a metal housing that sticks out and is bolted down with two bolts. Remove the bolts and then the thermostat will just pull right out.
Make sure and drain your coolant first ( at least low enough that it wont spill everywhere.)
But other than that it is real simple to do and maybe takes 10 to 15 min to do.

It shouldn't be hard. It's in a housing that is on top of the engine at the end of the top radiator hose. Take the two bolts out, paying close attention to how tight they are, and lift the housing off. The thermostat will be inside, sitting in a recess on the top of the engine.
