I agree with what some of the others have said. I won't even date a man who smokes because it turns me off that much. It would definitely be a deal-breaker for me. I just can't deal with the smell (either of a smoker's breath or their clothes). In fact, if a person is smoking in public and is anywhere near me, I'll move to get away from them and almost feel resentful that they're polluting the air.

Try to imagine that your boyfriend just took a big bite out of a used diaper, then wants to be romantic. That would be close to the same way your breath and mouth smell and taste to someone who doesn't smoke. It also makes your clothes and whatever room you're in dingy and smelly. If you want to continue to smoke, (it is a legal activity if you're old enough), you may have to clean up before being around your boyfriend.

Good Luck

if my girlfriend smoked i would've never started dating her. there was a girl that had a thing for me about a year ago, and i mean she's a good person and all, but i never allowed it to get past the friendship level cuz i didnt want to kiss a smoking mouth.

Would it be a major turn off for him if you didn't change for the better for him?

Smoking is nasty. I wouldn't be with someone who smokes.

Would it bother you if your partner were a drug addict? By the way I am a smoker.
