i have a compaq computer and i want to reinstall it will i need another cd other than the windows cd because i think i need a cd for my computers drivers but im not sure if they need a cd or do they?

If you're going to make a format, then yes you will need drivers. You don't necessarily need a CD with the drivers. If you have another hard drive or maybe a different partition that will not get formatted while installing Windows, go to your computer manufacturer's website to find your computer model and it should have drivers for all your hardware provided you did not change anything inside, such as add new hardware. If you did add new hardware, then you will need to have in handy the drivers for that hardware. You can visit the manufacturer's website of the specific hardware to get your model's drivers.

Not really, best to download them from www.hp.com as the later drivers are tend to be more stable,

nope, best way it go to HP.com and download it from there...they are more updated
