I just discovered them earlier this year, and all my friends have never even heard of them. I have been buying their CD's like crazy. I love how they never stick to one style, and I really like their concept albums. There has to be other fans, but I haven't found any. It feels like I've discovered this great band that almost nobody knows about.

KENMAN,
I would've love to seen the Kinks live. Closest I've gotten to anything live is the second half of Everybody's In Showbiz. Even though it's edited it's a hell of a show. The blow the doors off of the Muswell Hillbilly material. Guess I could still see Ray, though.

have loved 'em for over 30 years now...have had the pleasure of seein' 'em in concert 3 times...and love all their music...

it's fantastic that you've discovered an old school rock band that set the standard for so many others...bless you, my friend...

and, as ray sez 'rock bands will come, rock bands will go...BUT ROCK AND ROLL WILL GO ON FOREVER!!...'

Well, they were considered one of the "Big Four" of the Brit Invasion (the others being The Rolling Stones, The Who and of course the Beatles)

They're a great band, even though they weren't as commercially successful as the other Brit bands, they deserve all the recognition they get.
