I will give you step by step instructions. Boot from the Windows XP disc, at the main screen press "R" to select Recovery Console. Press 1 when asked about "which OS you want to boot" and then enter admin password if prompted. If you have not set any password, you can just press enter. At the command prompt type bootcfg /rebuild. When asked for OS name enter anything and next option entire /fastboot. Press enter and reboot.

if you do not want to loose the data try this..

boot from windows disc and press "r" when promted to repair.. then it will take to command promt then type "chkdsk /r" and hit enter then it will take 45 min.. it will go to 70 % and come back to 30 % no not panic.. if it is done.. then type " fixboot".. and restart the laptop.. if we are lucky then the issue will fixed.. if we are unlucky then you need to formatt the hard drive and reinstall the windwos agian.. which will wipe every thing loaded on your system..

BEST OF LUCK

No, I'm sorry. You will have to open it up, put a mole rat in and take out a blow torch. Light the mole rat on fire and then burn through the laptop to fix it.
