Have you checked your credit score and history? Log on to http://www.myfico.com to get your credit information (it will cost you) or if you have not pulled a credit history on yourself for the last 12 months, log on to https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp and get yourself a free credit history on yourself. Credit scores are extra.

Getting credit is based on age, income, history, savings, and other things. Start out with a gasoline card, department store or secured Visa/Mastercard credit card where you put up your own money for collateral. If you don't have money to get started then the answer is obvious... you cannot afford to use credit.

Do you have a checking account that is in good standing? No bounced checks? A valid drivers license? A steady job? A valid social security number? You can check your credit rating online at several different sources. Just google credit rating.

do u have any credit history? i suggest applying for a wal-mart card, they are easy to get. once you've made a few SMALL purchases and paid the bill on time for 6 months or so that will help your credit rating. there are also prepaid visa/master cards....you can learn about them at bankrate.com. but whatever card you get, don't go over 50 percent of your credit line, if you do that looks bad.

You should pull your credit report and take a look to see if there is negative information on there that might be causing you to be declined for credit.

As stupid as this sounds having NO credit is worse than having Bad credit.
I know what your saying, "you won't let me owe you money because I don't owe anyone else money?"

The whole credit thing is a scam!

You probably don't own any credit period. The best way to get credit. Save up 500$s, then buy something on credit and pay that 500$s immediately.

Do you have a job, mortgage, bank account? If you have none of these, then there's no wonder you can't get credit- otherwise- I don't know
