I'm a little confused about the exact nature of your question.

Do you mean how can you slow down the flow of your current period so you can have sex today or this weekend? Or do you mean how can you change your cycle so that you can have sex this weekend without the risk of getting pregnant?

If its the second one, there's not very much you can do about changing your own cycle. You can try taking birth control pills to regulate it.

If its the first one, you have a few options. If its the first day of your period, your flow is going to be heavy. There's nothing that you can do about that. However, if you're a few days in, you can try taking a long, warm bath and then keeping your feet elevated. When you become sexually aroused, your flow will slow down -- for some women, it even stops. This will not change the fact that there will be old blood in your vagina, but you probably won't be actively bleeding during intercourse.

Women have sex while they're menstruating all the time. Alot of guys don't mind it ... you could always talk to your partner about it instead of worrying yourself to death about how to hide it.

Slow it down doesn't really make sense, but if you take the birth control Depo Provera it generally stops your period. Your periods get lighter and less frequent until it stops all together. This is very common with many people.

Slow it down? I'm not quite sure what you mean.

If you want to make it more regular talk to your doctor about your options. The pill works well to help you control when your period happens and regulates you.

You CAN have sex on your period. It might be messy, so just wait until it is over to do it.

Don't do depo, there are class actions lawsuits against Pfizer for what that drug has done to many women's bodies.
