Yes I make good money, & I have a job that I just choose not to disclose. That doesn't make me a prostitute. I'm a very private individual because too many people try to get in my business.

Perhaps they think you are embarassed about your job so it must be something bad, or maybe it's because people tend to think the worst about others, especially if it would provide them with good gosip. It's none of there business if you choose not to disclose what you do and they need to understand that you want your privacy.

There are so many people on talk shows these days telling EVERYTHING. This even happens with people we meet; they tell everything. People start to expect it and don't realize that we have the right to be private.
So let them think what they like, they are going to anyway.

Is it the way you dress, use make-up, or talk? Do you have a history? Do you "hint"?? Do the people you are concerned about really matter?? Do they know you are a private person? If not, then tell them! Maybe joke about being a "James Bond Gal"!!
