Does the chicken in your freeze age despite being frozen?

Of course they will be aged, but the rate of decay (DNA replication failures, telomer shortening, etc) will have been dramatically reduced, so they will have 'aged' less.

Of course all current methods result in much more cellular damage than is saved by such techniques.

All the cells in the body would be in a state of suspended animation. There would be no brain activity. It would be like waking after a night's sleep and you would show no signs of ageing.

The theory of suspended animation is that you slow down the body's internal clock. It doesn't stop, though - your hair would continue to grow, for example, just more slowly.
