Hold the phone central.....Sherlock Holmes already solved the Ripper case, I saw it in one of the movies or the great BBC Mystery series.......Grissom reminds me of old Holmes in the way he goes about sorting thru and figuring out things and a lot of times, he's not using all the fancy equipment. If you are a true Grissom fan, you know his fascination with bugs and their larvae and how he has used his findings to solve cases.
To answer the question, if Grissom was there during the Ripper murders he positively would have solved the cases, and Craig could have been his Watson.

Even WITHOUT the technology, supposedly, they figured out who the Ripper was. In some cases, it was rumoured, the police OBLITERATED evidence. BECAUSE, they they thought he was a member of the Royal Family. Could Grissom solve this crime? Maybe; but, it seems, all of the crime scenes were compromised,...without Modern techs, it seems, STILL, an impossible case.

hey dudeman, i think that Grissom would beable to figure it out, he is a pretty smat guy. but even so there were some very smart detectives back in the time of jack the ripper. the problem was is that they didnt have the technology that we now have today, so i think we would today be able to stop the person right away.

Interesting thought, but the problem is that the technology is so much better now, I mean, look at where we have come just in the last 10 years.
