My 2006 Honda Civic is making a grinding noise whenever I turn right relatively sharply and at no other time. It is coming from the front, passenger side wheel. Any ideas on what it could be?

it could either be a bad CV joint or a wheel bearing going bad on it,either way id have it checked if its a wheel bearing it will get a lot worse on it,and there's one other possibility also,it could be the brakes wore real thin and they could be grinding on the rotor, that's just a possibility though, but have it checked,it could become a safety issue and it needs to be repaired, good luck with it.

Does it make the grinding sound once you change the activate rapid? If it makes no distinction take it returned to Honda or to a distinctive mechanic and spot what they say. Turning a change too sluggish sounds like a exceedingly lame reason.

Sounds like a bad CV joint. If it's a "clicking" sound, I'd say that's definately what it is. If it's grinding, then it could be a little tire rub, but I'm thinking it's a CV joint.

CV joint is going away. Check it and replace both sides if necessary.
