How hard would it be to find a job as a Medical Assistant in East Cleveland?

I’m relocating to Cleveland in 2008 because I want to be near family. I’m a Medical Assistant with over 10 years of work experience

I have narrowed down were I want to live which is the areas of Cleveland heights, Shaker heights and University heights, because of the hospitals located in this area.

OK got ya, the heights (Cleveland, Shaker and University).
With access to several hospitals, that would be an easy commute to work.

Good decision, lots of baby boomers needing health care and it pretty much sneaks up on folks until they needs to see a doctor. Ophthalmic technicians and PA's are always in demand anywhere. :)

You've narrowed to some good areas I would avoid East Cleveland if possible.
NOT the East Side of Cleveland thats fine, but the suburb East Cleveland.
Youre in the perfect field to come here. University Hospital and Clevaland Clinic have excellent opportunities

Avoid East Cleveland at all cost!!!! There is a hospital there, Huron I'm sure it would be real easy for you to find a job at that hospital. I grew up in Cleveland Hts. so I am bias by saying its the best suburb of Cleveland and it is closest to both University Hospital and Cleveland Clinic main campuses, as well as to Huron Hospital. Shaker & University Hts,their pretty too, but if you want close and good neighboorhoods for real Cleveland Heights is your best pick. Do not go to East Cleveland.

Are you saying East Side, East Cleveland is an actual town. It is small and might have some jobs, but the best bets are University Hospitals, Cleveland Clinic, Hillcrest Mayfield and SOM Center. There are medical offices in Beachwood, CH, SH, UH, Solon, and other areas.
