Temperature is the measure of the average kinetic energy of something. Heat is a measure of the total thermal energy of something. For a given thermal mass, higher temperature means higher energy. When the thermal masses are different, then temperature may not be the same as the heat. As an example, if I have a liter of water at 50C and a liter of water at 70C, then the 70C water has a higher temperature and more heat. If I have a sewing needle at 1000C and 1000 liters of water at 90C, then the water has a lower temperature, but a much higher level of heat. I hope this helps clarify things.

Temperature is defined as the condition which determines the flow of heat from one substance to another. This is different from heat.Heat is a form of energy and temperature is a factor which effects the availability of this energy. So, temperature is also known as the degree of hotness of a body.

Heat is the energy it self, and temperature, is the measure, amount a/o the degree which we can use to measure, or calculate the intensity of heat been irradiate by the energy it self (mass)
Energy is the mass, temperature is the estate of the mass.

Temperature is how warm something is. Its measured with the help of a thermometer. Our pores and skin senses temperature. warmth is different; its an quantity of ability. think of a few gas burner, in case you positioned an outstanding cord interior the flame it gets crimson warm very directly; yet a pan of water will take a protracted time to boil - because of the fact the mass is extra suitable. So as an instance a calorie (kC - unit of warmth) is defined (extra or less) because of the fact the quantity of warmth neded to strengthen the temperature of 1kg of water by a million degree centigrade.

Temperature varies, it could be hot or cold, where Heat is just hot.
Temperature is the way we measure and heat is the result of that measurement!

"Temperature is a number that is related to the average kinetic energy of the molecules of a substance. If temperature is measured in Kelvin degrees, then this number is directly proportional to the average kinetic energy of the molecules.
Heat is a measurement of the total energy in a substance. That total energy is made up of not only of the kinetic energies of the molecules of the substance, but total energy is also made up of the potential energies of the molecules."
