Any acid will do the trick.
Take a small piece of foil and sprinkle pineapple juice on it. Or lemon if you prefer

Leave it overnight. Admire the discolouration and holes and ask yourself if you really want to allow that stuff to come into contact with any of your food that may be only slightly acid.
