I just thought you kept them in breeder boxes so they didnt loose calories and burn to much fat when they were young or somthing, I will just put them into a 10 gallon, And for your info magicman that breeder box doesnt have holes on the bottom it has vents at the side and the fry can NOT get out just to let you know.

do the 10 gallon tanks have the other adult fish in them? if they do, you cant move the fry in there until they are big enough that they wont get eaten.
if they can fit into the mouth of the other fish, they will get eaten - it will take a few weeks.

50 is probably a good number. youll have to keep cleaning out the bottom of the boxes though - they get messy with fry poop pretty quickly and it makes the babies sick.
and make sure the water is circulated through the boxes every day - Even with the holes on the bottom, much of the water tends to stay in the box and get a bit dirty. tip some out of the box inot the tank and fill it back up with tank water... let it circulate a bit.

if you are going to keep breeding them or have that many fry, id suggest just finding another tank for them. they will be happier, cleaner and you wont have to worry about them being crowded for weeks or moving them around.... its a lot easier.

It's far, far better to allow the fry to remain in a 10 gallon ank and not in the breeder box. The small size of breeder boxes will prevent the young from growing properly and the very nature of the device prevents good water flow around them which is also harmful.

For the price of 5 of those boxes you can get a 10 gallon tank, an air pump and a sponge filter and give the fry far more space and much better living conditions.

Also notice that it's box is designed to allow the fry to escape the box while keeping the mother inside. So how many can you keep in one? Zero, they will all swim out.
