Since i have on average a 28 day cycle does that mean the i ovulate differently every month ???

And also .. is it possible to ovulate and not know it. I have been ttc for about 6 months now. And this month i havnet noticed a high cervix at all ((yes i do check)) i have just had the ovulation cm everyonce in a while for the past week. but since my husband works out of town hes home for 3 weeks. so we have been having sex at least every other day since my last period got over with. This is really confusing.

My last period was May 19th.

First off if you're trying to get pregnant..start taking folic acid..cause if you do get pregnant these vitamins will help your baby.. now this is how it works..
-first youll have a little chance of getting pregnant if you are trying on the wrong days.. so no matter how much sex you have .. if it's not when you're overlating..no pregnancy will occur..
-ovulation occurs usually 5 days when you're done a 7 day period..( yes i know most people don't last 7 days..you can be done at 4 or 5.. ) BUT you need to count 7 days starting from your period..so you got you're period on May 19th, 7days later, May 25th is the last day of your cycle..now count 5days after that.. you're going to be most fertile on May 30, 31, (you'll be fertile) June 1 (very fertile), 2 and 3 (you're overlating)..these are the days you should have sex On.. after that.. it won;t work.. I hope this helps!..
GOODLUCK

Are you taking temperatures also? The best way to tell is to combine all those bits of information and see what comes out. You will see a spike in temperature of at least 1/2 degree the day after you ovulate. This will also preceed a change in cervical fluid back to the thicker stuff.if your temp is high for 16 days or more, you are pregnant or there is a problem. Check it out.

Your ovulation should be, but might not be, predictable. That is because your cycles are so regular. I encourage you to not worry. Have fun and keep trying. We tried for over a year. It wasn't until we just quit trying and enjoyed ourselves that we got our child. Stress hinders fertility in both men and women. If you try for longer than a year without success, then you should talk with a doctor. Six months is honestly too soon to worry unless you know that you have a reason for concern.

Since your cycle is regular you can safely assume you ovulate regularly too--somewhere betwen cycle days 12-18--most likely about day 14.
As for the cervix--it is possible that you missed the high cervix.

Hi, based on babyhopes. com you should have ovulated today. Keep in mind that sometimes the cm may not be able to be detected. Just keep having sex every other day until Tuesday ie..tomorrow and tuesday. Hopefully you had sex yesterday.

Good luck and baby dust

have you tried using an ovulation predictor test? target sells generic brands (it's sort of like a pregnancy test but tells you when you are ovulating)... that takes the guessing out of the game!
best of luck!
