You really need a tampon. Wet pads are nasty. Embarassment will ensue. Tampons are not as scary as you may think they are. Just try one, you can't even feel them. Pads are stanky.

Sorry, but you can't wear a pad while swimming. It's very bad to expose your blood in a public swimming pool or ocean. The only way to go swimming on your period is to use a tampon. Ask someone to but tampons for you. Good luck!

You don't wear pads with bathing suits... it would defeat the purpose because water would soak in there too and then you'd get big clumps of blood down there that would come out. Just don't go swimming or wear a tampon.

You shouldn't wear a pad with a swimsuit. It will fill up like a diaper and not work for you. Use a tampon if you want to go swimming. If you just want to hang out by the pool, wear shorts instead of the swimsuit.

hi i'm having the same problem too! and i had this same problem last year also!! personally i don't want to wear tampons!! i like pads!! everyone thinks i'm crazy but i think they're comfortable!!! i can even tumble in them!!! last year i started for the first time right before school started and i wanted to go swimming before all the pools closed for the winter!!! here's what i did: go only when your flow is next to nothing! even then wear a pantyliner(these are thin enough that they won't show through and they don't have wings) when your out of the pool and right before you get in take it off(your period stops for a little bit when your in the water) when you get back out put another one on!!! BUT if your flow is still heavy then you should wear a tampon!!! i think i'll have to also this summer and i guess it's better to get it over with!!so, good luck!!!

Gross. You do realize the pad will soak up all the water and you'll have blood running down your leg when you get out of the water, also the pad could fall out when you get out of the water and be VERY embarrassing for you.

Wear a tampon while on your period in the water.

Um, use a tampon. If you use a pad thats just gross and if you use dry weave the little gel stuff can come out like a diaper does and, ew. Just invest in tampons, they are very user friendly.

Use a tampon or just leave the pad out. Typically any bleeding will not been seen in the water. Just change quickly after you get out.

if it didnt show on the suit, there's always the risk of it floating away in the water. use a tampon or dont go swimming.
