Oh dear god, it IS the humidity! I have lived in dry California and the hot wet South. I assure you it IS the humidity. I can stand 114 degrees without humidity, but even 80 degrees with humidity makes me feel like I'm gonna die.

I'm with the rest of these answers. I hate both, but I can survive the heat much better than the humidity. When that moisture's there, I just feel like I'm on my way out.

It's a combination of the both of them. If it wasn't so humid, it would cool off at night. That's what gets me, I like to have a few hours of sleep every day or so!!!
