No a woman CAN'T get pregnant anytime, a woman is only fertile for about 24 hours a month. It is usually around 14 - 16 days on the START day of a period, not the end of it, Everyone is different. In my opinion 4 days after her period is too early for her to get pregnant (count from the start of her period not the end of it), for example: If her period starts on June 1st then she would be able to get pregnant around June 14th to the 16th depending on her cycle. This only works if you WANT a baby, DO NOT use it as birth control because every woman is different and the numbers are approximate. It is the males sperm that decides if it is a girl or a boy, so the chance of either one is 50/50 but the girl sperm does live longer then the boy sperm. Hope I helped!

I studied midwifery which included child development and conception.
One thing I learnt was that you can become pregnant at anytime at all, another thing I learnt was that a woman is more fertile during the week after her period, so the answer to the first question is yes, you can conceive at this time.
I myself had 2 boys and when I became pregnant for the third time, did not believe I could have a girl. It was a girl. Unfortunatley there is no way of determining the sex of the baby and the sex does not connect with the conception date at all. Sorry, the chances each time are 50/50
Hope this helps.

Usually about 10 to 14 days after a girl's period,
The egg remains viable, that is, alive for about 72 hours, but is capable of being fertilized for only about 12 - 24 hours. If it remains unfertilized during this period, it disintegrates in the tube without leaving any trace.
Intercourse has to take place within this narrow time frame (1-2 days before ovulation or immediately after ovulation).
The Y-chromosome-carrying sperm (the one that results in a boy if it fertilizes an egg) is smaller, lighter, and faster-moving than sperm carrying the X (or female) chromosome. Conversely, the slower-swimming Xs are more resilient.
According to Shettles advocate Pat Buie, author of Choose the Sex of Your Baby Naturally, this means that male sperm cells move through the woman's reproductive tract faster than female cells. In addition, an X sperm can withstand a more acidic environment, while a Y is more likely to survive in an alkaline environment.

Conception/Fertilization of an egg, can only occur after ovulation. Ovulation occurs about 14-16 days before women have their period (not 14 days after the start of their period). The second half of the cycle, ovulation to menstruation, is fairly consistently the same length, but the first part changes from person to person and from cycle to cycle. The egg stays alive for about 24 hours once released from the ovary. Sperm can stay alive inside a woman's body for 3-4 days, but possibly as long as 6-7 days. If a couple has intercourse before or after ovulation occurs, they can get pregnant, since the live sperm are already inside the woman's body when ovulation occurs. Thus a woman can become pregnant from intercourse for about 7-10 days in the middle of her cycle.
Also, "female" sperm swim slower, but live longer. So if you want to try for a girl, try having sex the 3, 4, or 5th day before ovulation. However, if you want to tty for a boy, "male" sperm swim faster and die quicker, so you'd have to try closer to ovulation.

A girl/woman may get pregnant at any time, whether she's had her time of the month or not, this has really Little to do with it. Of course the chances are less at certain times but, if your talking chances, then she can get pregnant at any time.
Whether it's a boy or a girl has little to do with it. You'll have to wait and see on that.

Anytime you have sex, there is always a chance of pregnancy. Even if you have sex during the cycle. There are women who get pregnant at the drop of a hat, no matter when they have sex.
50/50 chance of either a girl or boy. Each person is different and may have more dominant genes towards one or the other. Some have twins.

Highly unlikely, but depends on whether or not her periods are regular. If theye ar then I would say no as she would ovulate roughly 14 days after the start of her period. If they are irregular then I guess thats a different matter (cant help there, sorry)

lol.. the day or time of conception doesn't effect whether or not the baby will be a boy or girl! it has to do with genetics.. and it works at random (which sperm enters the egg).. no one could tell you if it's a boy or girl until she's been pregnant a couple of months.. then they can test the amniotic fluid for traces of genetic material.. however, you might be interested to know that it is the guy's genes (sperm) that determines the gender of the child..
