I drove my car from Michigan and I need to attach my front plate to my car, in Michgan we do not have the front plate, so I do not have any holes drilled in the front. Is there any way front plate attachments that do not require drilling. I have no way of getting this on with out taking off some parts on the front bumber. I have a Ford Focus. Any suggestions??

Why did you leave without me???????

Double sided tape works well, might not last that long.

You could go get a plate tray from a junkyard over there, and self tapping screws will hold it on.

You could try a clamp-on type plate holder, if you really need it, but I'm pretty sure Ford has already provided mounting holes. Check under the bumper on both sides or in the center; there may be a couple of holes drilled already, in which case all you need is a mounting plate, which should be available at Ford dealerships. I wouldn't recommend a clamp-on plate holder since it is inherently easily removed, either on purpose or accidentally.

YOU shouldn't be required to have a front license plate considering the fact that you're not a resident of the state....and if you want too...just get the front holes drilled in...its quite simple and takes like 3 minutes.

If there is a gap behind the bumper, wire it with safety wire or similar.
Run it through the upper holes in the license plate, over the top of the bumper, down behind the bumper, up underneath the bumper, through the bottom holes in the license plate, tie (twist) ends together. Repeat for other (right or left) side.
