Ronald Reagan was not a better president than George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Monroe, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman or Dwight David Eisenhower.
He was however, ten times the president George W. Bush has been.

Are you kidding? Do you know anything about expansionary fiscal policy (cut taxes spend debt)? The idea is suppose to work in theory by expanding business with hopes that they trickle down the new wealth creation. Well it is quite evident that they haven't. The middle class and the poor have experienced the worse inflation under Reagan's and Emperor Bush's Administrations. Ronald Reagan is the very reason this country is 9 trillion in debt. Emperor Bush just continued Reagan's Reaganomics as a cut and spend president. You are confused. I want some of the stuff that you are smoking.
Dude, give up. Support a Democrat, preferably Hillary Clinton. It just makes sense (cents).

Yes we need a strong but fair leader to help solve some of the many problems this country has.
Regan whether you liked him or not was able to solve some of the problems that were left by previous presidents.
IE Carter, Nixon and Johnson.
He was able to end the Iran hostage crisis.
He was able to turn the us economy around by lowering taxes.
He was able to decrease the size of the federal government.
He was able to turn the US armed forces from being totally demoralized by the Vietnam war.
He turned it into the best trained and equipped fighting force in the world.
He played a major role in bringing down the Soviet Union.
We need a President that has that kind of initiative and ability.

To make that comment you must be an eyes closed die-hard republican, younger than 25 or an idiot caused you misspelled his last name. In case you have forgotten it was "Reagonomics" that caused the record budget deficits that every president since (till Bush's war) has been trying to balance. People freaked over Clinton getting oral sex but what about all of Reagan's scandals like the Iran-Contra Affair where the government was secretly selling arms to Iran. You know the Iran that used the US made weapons on the country named Iraq that though we were buddies since we gave them weapons and trained them (Osama Bin Ladin) in terroristic warfare cause we had a common enemy in the USSR. I guess that's why they don't like us. When questioned about any of it Reagan suddenly could not remember anything. Hell naw we don't need another Reagan. He left us with enough enemies. Let us not forget September 11, 2002 - R.I.P.

YES!!! And I think Fred Thompson could be that man. I think he has a connection to people like Reagan did. Thompson, like Reagan is not one of the elites that you will find in politics or the mainstream media.
Thompson, like Reagan has strong Conservative convictions and I believe will not allow himself to be swayed by anyone. Reagan new what he believed and he knew why he believed them. Like Reagan, Thompson is a great communicator and he express his beliefs and policies in a way people can relate and understand.
Reagan's policies created the longest growth in history. One in which we are still enjoying today. He was the main reason the United States won the Cold War. He stared down the Soviets and they blinked. Thompson, I believe will be the same way when it comes to the Islamic fascists we face today.
Thompson just might be the one man that could help bring Americans together again just like Reagan did when he was elected in 1980. And with all the problems our country faces we need that. We must stay united or we we fail.
Go Fred go !!!

Yes, his tax reductions and somewhat reducing government paved the way for a long expansion of the economy.
Clinton had the good sense (or was held back by Congress) not to undo very much of it, so he too enjoyed a long good economy.
Hillary and the Dem Congress will probably pass big tax increases and create lots of terrible new government programs, like FDR, but once a generation we need that kind of suffering in order to remind people how bad gov't can be.
