In actual fact, girls are better at accepting their sexual preference than guys.

Bisexual girls sometimes identify as lesbian in order to gain acceptance from other lesbians - who distrust bisexuals for "sleeping with the enemy".

All bisexuals experience confusion over their dual attractions, and feel like outsiders in both the gay and straight communities. The confusion stems from the lack of a visible presence.

Girls more confused? I always thought it took a man longer to accept his alotted sexuality. I am seeing younger lesibans everyday. In our society women are seen as object of carnal pleasures whether gay, straight, or bi. Most straight men love to see two women kiss or whatever. As for me a gay male, it would get me chased down most streets to make such a public declaration. So I think your questions merit is more towards the males and not the females.

Because in most western nations guys are expected to conform to the male gender role. Part of that role is not being allowed to express emotions or confusion over one's sexuality. A man is expected to be confident in all things, including his sexuality. So basically, a lot are but they hide it because they don't think they're allowed to be confused about it.

A simple factor: Masturbation Guys can masturbate with their penis, girls do not have the same option Girls masturbate by playing with their hands. It doesn't release any feelings, and can not help them feel more comfortable. Guys can masturbate and end the problem. Girls don;t have the same option, so that's why it seems the way you are referring too.

I am going to guess here... I think when girls come across moronic guys but understanding girls, they like interaction with girls better. It *might* be misunderstood as being part of their sexuality.

Also, there is better acceptance of females who are bi/homosexual, so it would just lead to more of them "coming out" than guys.

cos ga womenare stereotyped far more than gay men.
There are many more positive stereotypes of gay men on t.v. I think the thought of being s'typed leaves gay women in that confused state alot longer.

I think its because its more acceptable for girls to be les/bi than it is for guys. And guys usually don't share their "feelings" as much as girls so they might be but they just dont tell you about it.
hope i helped.
