I am a young teenager (in the 13-15 year old age range) and still have a lot of teddy bears. I don't sleep with them, but they are reminders of my childhood and I can't bear to let go quite yet. Some live on my bed, but most are in a blue baby-play-pen we just filled with them. I'm thinking of covering the play pen with something- maybe a wood thing with a curtain hanging down around it. But, I wanted to find out ahead of time- is having teddy bears in your room as a teenager cute, or too juvenile and a turn-off?

**I'm having guys in my room just as friends, some of which I have small crushes on haha, so don't get any ideas.
If you think I should keep them in my room (but not in boxes, because IF I keep them, I'd really like them in my room) do you have any ideas for storing them?

i'm 22 and i still collect stuff animals here and there. I have been with my boyfriend for 3 in the half years now and hes the one that has help my collection to be bigger. You are who you are and dont change that, express your teddy bears. Thats a girly thing and be proud of it because thats what will keep you young and young looking as you get older. Sh*t I look 18 because I do as I please and if the teddy bear thing is what you do then more power to you. If a guy thinks its juvenile then he is an As*hole and forget him , I hope you find a guy who thinks its cute because it is.

Don;'t be silly. It's adoribubble and even if you have them until you're older it's totally cute and acceptable. I know lots of girls that are like 30 with teddy bears still and yeah it's okay to sleep with them. Until your b/f kicks them out of the bed to make room for himself

It's little bit of a turn off. Guys know that women hold on to possessions, especially from child hood. That's fine, but they shouldn't be displayed everywhere. Box them all up except for ONE or TWO of your absolute favorites, and you should be fine. You can even rotate which bears you have out, just keep it to a minimum.

Okay, so to answer your question, I'd say the blue playpen would be the turn-off, not the bears.
Pick a couple and box the rest away. You'll still have them.

If you love them teddies then leave them right where they are! I know girls in their 20's and 30's still got the odd squishy friend lurking around their room. Don't hide who you are or what you treasure for anyone - are you not a bit too young to be having blokes in your bedroom anyway?

at 15 i had remodeled my room and all my teddy bears went up on shelves but of course 2 or 3 special ones remained on my bed... its not a turn off its a usual girly thing lol dont worry about it =)

It tells them you are still an immature child. When you say "some live on my bed", you are emotionally younger than your actual age.
Problem with immature girls is they are not stable in a relationship. You can't count on them to be there for you, or to be serious...because they are not.

you are who you are, and if you have to question what you like to turn on a guy then you are not ready to give up the bears. enjoy your growing years this the only time you can honestly enjoy who you are.
