Good and bad here. Without a seperation agreement you could still be held responsible for his debts but in a divorce court he will have to show a just reason why hes not working in his profession so if he cant he could be scrambling real quick for another job making his last known salary, especially if he just recently quit his job to avoid divorce proceedings. The Judge will see thru his little games again

legally no he can't ..... morally he did ....from watching divorce court he will have to pay back 1/2 the money he took back to you because it was marital property...as for the credit cards you will be liable for 1/2...the furniture will have to be discussed at the actual divorce hearing, if he sold it then he will have to pay you 1/2 of whatever he got for it. the judge will give him about 30-60 days to find suitable employment in which case she/he will order him so much time to pay you back whatever he/she feels is fair and necessary. at that time then you may sue him for whatever you can, spousal support, child support (including back pay) on both and you can even sue him for emotional stress etc. good luck

Bless you, you will be responsible for whatever he does. Sorry, sounds like he's being selfish and only thinking of himself. Do you really want anything except rid of him? Go forward and try to forget and be you for a change instead of his wife. Be the beautiful woman that you have always wanted and take care of yourself. Good Luck

You sure know how to pick 'em. Suck it up and be glad to be rid of the bum. There isn't any reason to dwell on him. The only revenge is success. Learn from your mistakes. Meet a real man.
