You asked..so let me attempt to give you an answer that I have come to accept and understand over the last year. don*t dismiss it as silly untill you give it some thought. There are many dimensions and levels of love...you Love your parents, you Love your children, you Love your friends..correct? Each one is special, but different. This just means that you are concerned for their well being. You want each of them happy, cared for, and taken proper care of. LOVE ...for someone of a different gender. This is not a matter of the heart, or emotions...but a MENTAL falicy in the beginning. You are attracted to them not only physically, but to their personality,
the fun and laughter you share, your desire to be attractive to them, and important in their life. You spend lots of time together just talking and learning one another, the upside and downside, sharing hopes and dreams, comparing notes...seeing if you are compatible and a strong lasting relationship could evolve from this. You see the neagative as well, and realize that hey this is
not such a big deal that I can*t work with it.Before you even realize it, the whammie stick has hit you....this person is all you think about, you can*t wait to spend time together, or for their phone call. You are always doing things for that person, how
ever small or great. You can*t wait to share with them that job promotion you*d been waiting on, or to hear how their day went. You long to hold them and to be held. You suddenly realize that your day isn*t complete until they have been a part of it. You long to ly beside them at night, and wake next to them each new morn. To be the one you go to for comfort or for encouragement, and vise versa. That you value the same things, and are willing to walk side by side, hand in hand, and work together to see that your dreams become a reality. Love is many faceted in a relationship and if all of them aren*t on a positive level, then the relationship is doomed to problems from the get go. Some people can overcome and work thru this, but most of us aren*t willing to try. When things get difficult for us, we want to tuck tail and run. Love doesn*t do that.

Love is an emotional state of mind. Such as, when you care very much for someone. At the same time, there is a big difference between love and like. Nowadays we all have the habit of saying, I love this or I love that, which isn't the true meaning of love at all.

Love isn't about finding the perfect person, it is about seeing an independent person perfectly.
Nobody really knows the meaning of love but if you have a desire to see the person and spend time with him/her and you want to be with that person than that is love. You see the person as he/she really is and you still accept him/her as they are and love them anyway.

Something wonderful that shows all, tells all and conquers all. It is something that is long lasting, wonderful and makes you feel great. It is something that is treasured and never taken too lightly. Love lives inside of each and everyone of us and it takes that special person to activate it and make it grow.

My definition of love is:
Love is promoting each others' well - being:
Be it:
mentally
physically
emotionally
financially
spiritually
socially
If you are not being promoted in your relationship; why are you still there?
