I marinate, pre fry or cook, pack foldable BBQ ,grab fishing rod
and off I go. ( chicken / pork chop / sausage ).
And some potato salad. Heaven.

No when we do a picnic we are usually a cool food person. We don't usually take fried chicken and stuff like that.

No, but it's a nice idea, while you have the grease and the skillet handy. (I have always taken the easy way out and picked up fried chicken at a takeout to avoid the mess that home-cooking it makes and getting the kitchen all hot.)
