John I know I was lazy about it in the past, but now I figure if people take the time to answer I should take the time to choose.

Yes I do , no matter how many there are, but I've noticed that when you look at 'Choose Best Answers' , it's nearly always the ' first answer' that has the most votes, so I do think that there are people who don't read them all.. !! ..xx

Of course, what would be the point otherwise? It's only fair ... and I like to be fair. Naturally, it's subjective and sometimes I give B/A not to someone who actually answered the question in the most relevant way but who made me laugh with a throw-away comment.

Yes, how can you choose a best answer unless you read them all, you have to be fair to everyone that takes the time to answer.

Every single one - if people have been good enough to answer then I think they deserve to be read! I do have a last 'check though' before choosing though.

I read the question, then answer. When my answer is submitted, I read everyone elses answer. So sometimes I say what someone else has already said. Never mind - Great minds think alike.
