Perhaps the question is (7x-40)(4x-5)=0
Therefore, either 7x-40=0----> x=40/7
or 4x-5=0----->x=5/4
x=5/4, 40/7
x=1 1/4, 5 5/7

(7x-40)(4x-5)=0
Therefore either (7x – 40) = 0 or (4x – 5) = 0
Therefore ----> 7 x = 40 or 4 x = 5
Therefore x = 40/7 or x = 5/4
x = 5/4, 40/7
