Hi All ,
I Like This Guy. Who I've Known since last Year September But I've never had the courage to ask him out. Now Ive seen hin go through two relatioships with him being dumped. And Realise how stupid I was not to take a chance. Now I've plucked up some courage But as he is not one of my closest friends , how do I bring it up? I've tried asking him to the cinema and kept an open relationship But He's always busy!
How do I get his attention or (I feel as if he doesn't make an effort to see me) Make an effort sometimes?
If You have any helpful advice , please say!
Thanks.

Okay...let me get this straight...you've tried asking him to the cinema more than once but he's always busy? Is that right, especially the more than once interpretation?

If he's 'always busy' when you ring him and ask him to go see a movie...he's not interested in dating you. Sorry about this, but Christine H is right. He's 'always busy' because he probably doesn't have the heart to turn you down flat. Now that could be because he's hurting and not ready to try again..but..my advice is to move on for your own happiness.

Well if you want to get this guys attention maybe you should hang around him more. But whatever you do don't stalk him.
Because he could get sucspitcous.
You must always let him know you are there, like whenever you are near him just say hi.Even if he is in a conversation.
And compliment him and just walk away after you do...
That will get him thinking like... why did she compliment me and just walk away I didn't even get the chance to say thanks,
i was to to busy talking to my friend. And in that point he will be feeling guilty and maybe ask you out.
Hope this advice worked out.

the easy way to answer this is with a story. i met a lady 22 years ago, we were good friends, i ended up falling in love with her, i didn't tell her because i didn't want to rock the boat and risk losing her friendship. she died on new years day this year. her daughter read her diaries and asked me to read them, it seems that she felt the same way about me for all these years, she didn't want to tell me because she was afraid it would frighten me off and ruin the friendship. The moral of the story, don't waste your life on 'shall i shant i', go for it, tell this person how you feel NOW, don't have regrets, they are hard to live with. good luck.

If you are not feeling any vibrations coming off of him; as in you have to ask how to get his attention.... then don't bother. Move on.

Sorry.....
