I know that Clear Blue has an early detection test. Bascially any test that advertises that you can test up to 4-5 days before your missed period.

However, read the fine print!! The accuracy of the tests get smaller and smaller the earlier you test.
I got a negative result the day before my period, and then the correct positive result the day of my period!

Check the link below. The lower the number the sooner it can detect pregnancy because it only needs to measure that amount of HCG. So for instance, if you use a test thats 100ml and a test thats 25ml at the same time before your period, one might detect that you are pregnant while the other is still negative.

A blood test by your doctor can determine if you are pregnant as early as a week after the suspect date.

They do it all the time for invetro clients. I should know since my wife is pregnant with our second test tube baby.

i believe in the first reponse test. Test 5 days sooner before missed period
