It's not silly.

There are directions in the package. That will help. There's a diagram in the paper about how to insert it.

I suggest that you test one with out inserting first. Tampons are constructed of two main parts: the tampon and the applicator.

The tampon is made up of a cotton construction with a string attached. The string is for removal. The cotton expands as it aborbs your blood. The string will also absorb blood once the cotton is saturated.

The applicator (except O.B, which does not come with an applicator -- it too has directions), is made up of two parts. The top part with the rounded end contains the cotton tampon. The bottom part has the string coming out and is slight smaller.

Hold the top part of the applicator at the bottom with your thum and middle finger. Then push up on the bottom of the applicator with your index finger (pointing finger).

Then once you see the action without insertion, you can do it with insertion.

Then follow the package instructions from there. The tampon should be insert all the way into your vagina.

Hope this is helpful, and don't be afraid to try more than once.

:)

There are instructions in the box, very clear.

Basically it goes like this (easiest way if never used them before):

recline on bed, knees bent, legs apart use pillows to prop up a mirror so you can see your genitals. (no pants obviously)

Part labia (lips), look for vagina (hole or slit).

Hold tampon in thumb and middle finger by the "grip", index finger on the end the string is hanging out of.

Insert tip into vagina until fingers (where grip is) are all the way touching skin. Depress tampon (push with index finger on end of applicator). With draw applicator.

There are instructions interior the container in case you % to easily commence utilising them. to inform your mom, i anticipate she knows you have your era and merely tell her you desire to apply tampons and would desire to she tutor you a thank you to with looking the main appropriate length and varieties. Plastic applicators are so plenty extra delicate than paper, undergo in strategies you ought to throw away the plastic section. The sizes rely on how plenty pass you have, you ought to soak the tampon each 4 to six hours.
