all the internal lights have gone in my car also the computer and stereo aint working help

If your battery and battery cable connections are good, then you may have a blown fusible link that supplies power to the whole car except the starter motor. You can't tell if you have a good battery or battery connections by just looking at them. If the battery's 5 or more years old, you need a new one. Otherwise you have to have the battery tested at the auto parts store to see if it's good. You could try a jump start (see video below and the Advance Auto online video "Battery Basics" on battery replacement). Once you get it running, drive to AutoZone or Advance Auto parts and have the battery and charging system tested for free in the parking lot.

Check to see if other items work like windshield wipers, heater fan, horn, etc. If all these are dead or very weak, check your battery. You may have accidentally left your lights on.
