I pictured myself living where I am now, still providing care for my friend. She has since passed on. Then I figured I'd be providing care for my aging parents.
As it turns out, I am dating for the frist time in decades, and working towards a lifetime with my soulmate.
I almost have everything I ever wanted.
Yours will come too, Honey. We don't get here the easy way, but our hard work makes it all worthwhile and all the more important to us when we get there.

I'm way off target, too. FIve years ago, I was 22, and I was still determined to make it to Los Angeles and work in the film industry. Where am I now? Ohio--working a few online jobs in education.

I never thought I would have gotten married so young. I kept telling myself there is no way in hell I'm going to get married right now. Surely enough, I got married a year later.

I thought I would be working in the career I had devoted myself to since I was 18...alas, that hasn't happened, despite the fact that I have two degrees now but my goal is farther and farther away now...so now I'm refocusing my goals and trying to figure out what I want to do in the meantime.

properly, I as quickly as pictured myself as somebody who's on the brink of be an anime character. What I did is I pictured myself of having powers from the anime, yet i'm nonetheless interior the genuine worldwide --- style-of like the adult adult males in Shaolin soccer and Kungfu Hustle. i haven't pictured myself as an anime drawing yet I certainly have the anime powers. I looked cool and ambitious to the human beings, that's what i needed. oh yeh, it does not make you emo. it's going to make you look cool and inventive and innovative.

Well I was eleven so not yet in high school. I had the image of high school presented by movies and television. Depending on my mood or how I was feeling, I could be in a number of cliques, popular, loser, it changed. Now I'm just a person. High school is so different from what we're shown it is.

I pictured life about the way it is. I have known for a very long time that my life would be hard and full of disappointments. That is the only disappointment I have not had.
