I would say just over 90%, in my experience. Wired networks have a 99.9% success rate, for me. My main issue is tracking down what's wrong with a failing WiFi connection. What are some techniques/tools that one can use to troubleshoot failing WiFi connections?

Wifi is really just radio so things that can bother it are wide and varied.

Just type "trouble shooting wifi" on Yahoo or Google will return hundreds of sites.

I also use information from http://defactowireless.com under the FAQ and troubleshooting sections. they are pretty good.

I run a WISP and really the failures aren't that much different than wired as long as the signal levels are good.

The biggest problems are weak signals and cordless 2.4 gig phones!

You should also load and use tools like Netstumbler which will show signal and noise levels all at once. There is even a 99.00 spectrum anaylzer available.
